Description: Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) will be holding an event at MSR Houston.
About CVAR
The purpose of CVAR shall be to encourage the restoration, preservation and operation of Vintage Sports Cars, to act as a source of technical and other information, and to conduct a broad range of events for Vintage Sports Cars and their owners.
Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing is a Mid and Southwest based not-for-profit organization of about 320 members. It is run by officers and a board of directors elected by members. All meetings are open and members are encouraged to voice their opinions through their directors, group leaders, or at board meetings. Opportunities for member participation range from spectating at events to running for Board position. Members are encouraged to run their cars or volunteer their services at events.

These events are NOT RACES, rather the focus is on SAFETY and LEARNING. The first few times you attend DE events; you WILL have an experienced instructor in the car with you at ALL times. For track sessions you will be grouped with people who drive at approximately your same speed, and you will drive in 4 of these 20-minute sessions each day. New drivers attend 2 entertaining and informative classroom sessions each day, as well as a helpful braking exercise between class and track sessions. The minimum age for participation in a DE is 18.
